FAQ's

Are you mobile, or do you have a clinic?
I offer both mobile and in-clinic appointments. Mobile treatments are typically available on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, and take place in the comfort of your own home.
 

When booking, please ensure you select an appointment titled "Mobile Appointment" for home visits, or "In Clinic" for treatments at the salon. Please note that some treatments are only available in clinic and are not offered on a mobile basis, this will be clearly indicated when booking. If you're unsure which option is right for you, feel free to get in touch before booking.

​What areas do you cover for mobile treatments?
I primarily serve Benfleet, Essex and neighbouring areas. If you're outside this area, feel free to reach out before booking to confirm availability.

How long will my mobile treatment last?
The booking time you select includes travel, setup, and a brief consultation to ensure the best experience. Your actual hands-on treatment time may be slightly shorter than the full appointment duration, but I always ensure you receive the full benefits of your session.

What do I need to prepare for my mobile massage?
✔ Have a quiet, comfortable space ready for your treatment.
✔ Allow enough space for me to set up my massage table & equipment.

✔ Please notify me if your space is only accessible by stairs as this may impact me being able to accommodate your mobile treatment.

✔ Complete the consultation form before my arrival to optimise treatment time.

 

What should I wear for my treatment?
For body sculpting and lymphatic drainage treatments, I recommend arriving in light, comfortable clothing. Depending on the area being treated, underwear may not be required, especially for full body treatments where coverage would interfere with results. I provide disposable bras if needed, but you’re also welcome to wear your own if you prefer. Your comfort and privacy are always prioritised throughout the session.

Will you bring everything needed for the mobile treatment?
Yes! I provide a professional massage table, high-quality oils/creams, towels, and any equipment needed for your session. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your treatment!

Is Manual Lymphatic Drainage painful?
Not at all. MLD is a gentle, healing treatment that uses light, rhythmic movements to stimulate your lymphatic system. It’s never painful. In fact, most clients find it incredibly calming, restorative, and deeply relaxing. It’s designed to support your body, not stress it.

Do you offer post-surgical lymphatic drainage?
While I am trained in post-operative care, it is not currently a service I offer in the early stages of recovery. My focus is on general wellness and sculpting-based lymphatic treatments. However, if you are 12 weeks (3 months) post-surgery, fully healed, and have no ongoing complications, I’m happy to support your continued recovery and wellness journey with appropriate treatments. Please consult with your surgeon or GP before booking to ensure it's safe for you to proceed.

Why do I feel emotional after a massage?
Massage often releases stored tension and can stimulate an emotional response. This is completely normal, your body is processing and letting go.

Can massage help with sleep or stress?
Definitely. Treatments like Indian Head Massage and MLD are known for calming the nervous system, improving sleep, and promoting a sense of emotional balance.

 

What happens after I book?
Once you've booked, I will contact you to confirm your appointment and arrange a deposit to secure your slot. You will also receive a consultation form, which must be completed before your appointment to ensure the best possible treatment experience.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. This allows me to manage my schedule efficiently. The deposit amount and payment details will be provided once your appointment is confirmed. For bookings under £60 the deposit will be £10 and for anything over this £20. This will be deducted from the final balance on the day of your appointment.

What if I want to use a promotion or multi-booking package?
If you’ve seen a special promotion on my social media or wish to use a multi-booking package, please inform me when I contact you to confirm your appointment. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively, so be sure to mention them at the time of booking!

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I totally understand, life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid any charges. Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable, as this helps protect our time and business.
